24 and chasing dreams
q: what d'u do when u can't sleep?
a: chase your dreams.
i meant literally, in the figurative sense. geddit? not sure if i do myself. (kw - cryptic is not poetic. rawr.) napping just before midnight is an evil temptation, which is why i've been restlessly awake for god knows how long, which is why i'm here now blogging, becoz part of my dreams is to write more. which brings to mind my new year's resolutions, which i'd rather not be reminded of, but this is a start, so let us not falter in the wake of proactive progress!
24 came and went. i love to think it was an occasion of little thoughts and simple things, although it just looks Sad when u appear to measure celebration with a list of the things u got, such as i'm doing, but such also is the sordid material world.
- 1x ice cream tradition
- 1x green tea cake
- 1x brazilian semi-buffet
- 1x homecooked dinner
- 1x sudoku book
- 1x sennheiser hd212 pro
to all of u, i have to say, i appreciate the thought more than the thing. subject over object. all this totally made my day, and month, and year. as i replied when ch wished me "have a good year ahead" - the year is looking good already.
