reform?

 
i have a hd for copyworkshops!

jackie tells me on a chance meeting, on the way out uni. it's ironic, becoz i was coming out the shop with a new sketchbook and stuff, and never would've met her otherwise. before that i was printing out these potential vip passes called d&ad briefs. solving these brilliant puzzles earn u The Accolade of the industry.

in the morning, i had basketball with jason and alex, and learnt a neat trick just over lunch break. this being so, u can tell it's nothing useful - just making the ball run a circle inside your arms. it's quite simple, i learnt it while walking the 2 blocks down to chinatown, and on the way back jason introduced me to intermediate, which was keeping the ball rolling multiple circles. this led me to think of Practice. i should get to practising solo lay-ups at 7am.

spurred on by all these, i came home on a high.
read through all d&ad's.
interrupted by a loud hammering on the door...
Cops!

this bunch of 5 cops got this report from a neighbour who probably saw my housemate a while ago. see, our door's flush handle is corrupted and now lying in 4 dejected pieces beside my window. i've been climbing in & out the window quite some time now. it's a cool experience. 2 of them tried it out themselves, and went upstairs to 'make sure' there's no break-in. their name tags read senior constables.

not everyday u have senior constables climb in your room, ok? so back to the d&ad's. i reread and put them in order, then got some thinking done. while doodling, i suddenly decided to put flesh to this idea i had the other day. i was earth-googling, scrolling over what i thought was melb uni's sports ground... and it turned out to be the cemetery. damn blur ok! u can see the grey oblong plots in the kl ones.


if i do this at a daily rate, i will be dan piraro. Posted by Picasa

and i fell asleep about 3-4 am.
that was eventful monday - in all clarity.

That was tuesday, roughly. see... i had a pee break at about 4:30pm.

so just now after my 2nd pee, i came back, flipped on the light and shot back under the doona. i looked at my orange light through translucent black blanket, and thought back to what dr ian said over the cny: he "suggest[s] a lifestlye change". that means the works, even up to watching a balanced diet.

and it hits me... i've been having this phoom, phoom life since south yarra. it's been 2 years. my health, logically, is wasted beyond imagination. i don't even eat right meals, much less worry bout nutrition. exercise? i'd probably drop comatose if i managed to run the subang lake. i had a very relaxed basketball morning, but came back with slight muscle complaints and slept 20 hours. days and nights don't exist, i don't go to sleep with a sense of finishing today, starting tomorrow, just fall in and out between waking. i live in my room from midnight to afternoon.

this has got to stop.
maybe i'll start with those 7am lay-ups.

# tea is my drug. i take tea whenever, wherever, black, milk, hot, cold,
packaged, no matter brand, flavour, tarik or powdered - but preferably not, lah.
i won't never say no to yumcha. But... i don't drink enough water.

# am tidy but not clean. i have books and files and cds in exact spots
while dust blankets all the remaining desk/shelf space.
my toiletries are arranged in a neat row while brown algae creeps up the toilet bowl.

# i like green. and i like mahjongg.
3 years ago, friends dubbed me 'fun sun', god of slumber. i liked that very much too.

# love comics. buy comics on whim, though not very often,
prefer trade editions to waiting for series, look at all kinds of different styles,
so i've an eclectic collection. this is to help my drawing hobby.

# i dream of work-touring europe east to west.
speaking of which, i dream too much of which involve hard work, but am damn lazy.

# i seldom dislike anything and seldom get mad. but don't get me mad.

# reckless driver hahhah.

# i dread the day i light a ciggie with the dying butt of the current.

01nov - yours truly
in the recent weeks, i read many people who wrote about finishing the semester, the year, the course. there were a few birthdays. i been wanting to write something deep for the occasion/s but as always, slipped the deadline. see, i don't wanna grow up.

in the recent months, wt got married in thailand. ben taylor snuck off somewhere and got married in the semester's fucking break. i sent legendary theme to boy ko to talk chords and he said "u got a piano right in yur brain" and we talked about my plans and going back and, right there in fucking msn, "u beta come back" - becoz he wants to get married.

he's newly 27. we talked about my bro. 30, slightly chubby web entrepreneur, anyone up for grabs? heh heh. fuckla, they're nearing 30. knowing all these people older than u makes u afraid of growing up... knowumsayin? u think i'm in a hurry to get married?!

07nov - luck
and even the kids are growing up... check out km's multiply. bro has returned a detailed list to fiona's questions, and i found even he didn't know the sons following luck and sin (suddenly those names sound damn cool, in english context). and maluri is 10 mins away from midah. things are not getting better even with multiply, is it? though my sis is pretty active there.

08nov - sis
a funny thing happened the other day, i resigned for her - yes me, before ever starting a formal job - on the eve of her birthday. so having no idea of how to write the damn letter right, i laid bare her heart to the boss, adding my own experiences as Hourly Alarm and Dawn Concierge, that the job basically sucked, no thank u, they were all great people, thank u, but she's 29 and should be better off seeking romantic rendezvous.

wonder of wonders, i was - not all right, but not all wrong either. even She...

15nov - 15 corrs la
an exhibition launched at the juvenile fad gallery officiated The End of uni work. this week also marked the finish of the lizard project, which took >8 unnecessary weeks. it was supposed to be my biggest solo project before 21. i'll have to call it my biggest solo project by 21.

though now i'm still fiddlefucking with export/publishing.

anyway, where to from here? i dunno. there is portentous change in the coming months, a gloriously blank future. my plans are coming along, and it's getting annoying when everyone asks. but as for growing up and old and 21 - it's just another number. phoom, phoom! and life goes on.
